Lead Sprint — Sample Batch

Storm Response Leads: North Huntsville Flash Flood

Prepared for Logan Nicholas Construction · June 2026

Why this exists

The June 7 flood is still working its way through roofs

On June 7, 2026, a Flash Flood Emergency hit North Huntsville, Hazel Green, and Meridianville — 5 to 9+ inches of rain in a few hours, water rescues, and roads closed on Naugher Rd, Homer Nance Rd, Shields Rd, and Voekel Rd.

Sustained heavy rain like this doesn't cause new damage so much as it finds existing weak points — old flashing, worn valleys, nail pops — that show up as leaks days or weeks later. That's the window this batch is built for.

This is a real sample of what Lead Sprint can pull together for one event, in one part of the county — built from public property records, neighborhood posts, and flood reporting. No charge for this batch. If it's useful, the last section covers what a standing version looks like.

Roads covered: Naugher Rd, Homer Nance Rd, Shields Rd / Shields Rd NE, Voekel Rd — all confirmed flooded or impassable on June 7–8.

Hot Lead · Explicit Intent

"Looking for recommendations on an affordable roofer. Money is tight but I need atleast some spots patched up asap" — posted to Nextdoor, June 8, 2026 Source: nextdoor.com/p/LXG8D6Q4QSSD
Why she's Tier A: A dated, public, first-person statement of need — the highest-confidence signal there is. She's flagged budget as tight, so this likely reads as a spot-repair / insurance-assist job rather than a full re-roof — a fast, good-faith first job with a built-in review opportunity.

Tier B — Priority Leads

Aging roofs on the hardest-hit street

Both properties sit on Shields Rd NE, the stretch neighbors reported as "flooded and underwater" near Jordan Rd. Owner names and addresses are public county records — no skip-trace run on these two yet.

Score 0.98 · Aging Roof

Donald R. Sylvester Sr. & Terry S. Sylvester

500 Shields Rd NE, Huntsville, AL
Built1996 (~30-yr-old roof)
Assessed Value$623,400
StreetShields Rd NE — flooded
Why it's a priority: A high-value home with an original-era roof well past the typical 20–25 year asphalt shingle lifespan, on a street confirmed to have flooded. Sustained rain is likely to have exposed existing weak points.
Score 0.98 · Aging Roof

Harley F. Goble Jr. & Patricia Goble

526 Shields Rd NE, Huntsville, AL
Built1992 (~34-yr-old roof)
Assessed Value$340,900
StreetShields Rd NE — flooded
Why it's a priority: Same street, even older roof. A 34-year-old roof on a $340K home is a strong candidate for a full replacement conversation, not just a patch.

This same sweep also turned up 7 more aging-roof properties on these flooded streets — Naugher Rd (built 1974, plus three more from 1983), Shields Rd (1978, 1998), Homer Nance Rd (2004). Happy to pull owner and contact info on any that look worth a knock.

This is one batch, for one event.

The same approach — public records, neighborhood posts, and local signals — could surface similar batches anywhere in the county, any time.
